About

Brad Walsh, PT, MSPT

Brad Walsh joined our team in February 2022. He is a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California and also a registered Physiotherapist in Australia. He completed his Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Canberra in 2013. Brad started his career in Australia working in an outpatient clinic which was also affiliated with a private hospital. During that time he treated a wide variety of  patients for neck & back pain, upper and lower limb musculoskeletal conditions and post-operative surgeries and procedures. He gained experience working with patients from all demographics with varying degrees of functionality and mobility.

Brad moved to San Diego in 2017 and spent a number of years transitioning his Physical Therapy license from Australia to the USA. During that time he worked with athletes managing sport-specific injuries, peripheral joint issues and spinal conditions. He gained further knowledge about foundational mechanics, postural alignment, movement efficiency and developed strength and conditioning programs. The final stage of that process saw Brad complete a Physical Therapy internship where he gained valuable knowledge about the United States healthcare system and further exposure to pre/post-operative care. It also included a strong emphasis on functional movement and biomechanical assessment via the Applied Functional Science (AFS) model.

Brad is passionate about working with people of all ages in order to help them improve their health outcomes. He facilitates patient goals through the use of education, manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation and functional strength training. He strives to empower his patients to take an active approach in their rehabilitation. Outside of work he likes to spend time with his wife and their Wheaten Terrier, Willa. He also enjoys surfing, golf and playing Australian Rules Football for the San Diego Lions.
